ETP FUNDAMENTALS (Biomedical & Clinical Sciences)
April 2021 - August 2021 (Study Support Sessions / Osmosis Access)
  • Study methods and approaches to organizing information, study timeline framework, resource overview.
  • Osmosis Software including comprehensive video and study note resources.
  • High-yield study methods including quizzes and flashcards with spaced repetition.
  • Study Support Sessions led by TAs with tutoring and teaching experience in subject matter.
  • Q & A format covering material in Biomedical Science, Clinical Science and overarching learning support.
BOOTCAMP #1 (10-Day Modalities & Lab Diagnosis)
This 10-day review course is an opportunity for students to consolidate and organize their knowledge in preparation for the written component of the CONO Clinical Sciences Entry-To-Practice Exam. This course will be offered via live webinar which will give students the opportunity to join remotely from home, ask questions and engage in prepared learning activities. Live participation is encouraged. Sessions will be recorded for those unable to attend a session.

BOOTCAMP #2 (3-Day Practical Exam)
This course is designed to help students successfully prepare for CONO’s entry-to-practice clinical (practical) examinations. This live 3-day course will be a practical review of the entry-level competency requirements for acupuncture, manipulation and physical examination/instrumentation. This course will cover the proper use of medical equipment and terminology while performing physical examinations including vitals, cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal, EENT and neurological as well as relevant diagnoses. It will also cover anatomy and motion palpation for cervical (Occ-C1, C1-Occ, C1-C2, C2-C7), thoracic (T1-T12) and lumbar (L1-L5) and sacroiliac joints (SI); absolute and relative contraindications for manipulation; as well as motion palpation and manipulation adjustment techniques, including appropriate set-up and line of drive.
