Triglyceride Study

There is evidence that shows a relationship between high triglyceride levels and cardiovascular disease. And with over 32.2% of adults having high triglyceride levels, there is a growing demand for alternatives to pharmaceuticals for optimizing cardiovascular health.

KGK Science and its partner clinic, the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON, is pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in a novel study that will look at how an all-natural product sourced from yeast may help to establish optimal triglyceride levels.

Participant responsibilities:

This is a randomized placebo controlled study involving blood draws and other physical exams including an electrocardiogram (ECG). Complete three online questionnaires.

Ideal participants are:

  • Men & Women between the ages of 30-70
  • Experiencing high triglyceride levels
  • Sedentary or engaged in low daily activity
  • BMI of 20 – 32.5 kg/m2

Duration:

This study will require five short visits at the Toronto clinic over a few months.

Remuneration:

$400 total for completion of all study visits. All participants are monitored and services are provided at no cost to participants.

Diagnosis:

Elevated triglycerides (a component of high cholesterol).
