Temporary part-time dispensary consultant (Danforth)

Job Summary
The main responsibility of the Wholistic Dispensary Consultant is to provide excellent customer service using their product knowledge, expertise in their field of study, engaged customer interaction and positive interdepartmental attitude.
Job Duties
  • Provide a prompt and educated customer service experience.
  • Apply consultation experience to specific customer needs by building a unique customer/consultant relationship.
  • Assess customer’s requirements, active listening, educated product information and balanced closing sales techniques.
  • Process point of sales transactions quickly and efficiently.
  • Stock products and perform other required duties in times of low customer traffic
  • Follow department cleanliness requirements.
  • All other duties as required by department management and supervisors
Skills/Attributes Required:
  • Customer service oriented attitude, leads by example.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands.
  • Flexibility of schedule (weekends and evening)
Education/Experience Required:<
  • Knowledge of supplements a requirement (e.g. general uses, relation to health conditions, brands)
  • **Certification or diploma in a holistic health field (e.g., ND, Homeopathy, Herbalist, TCM etc.) required.
  • **Naturopathic students in Year 2 or above are also welcome to apply
  • Previous experience working as a natural health care consultant or clinical practitioner is an asset
  • Training, knowledge and/or awareness of Canadian Organic Standards, genetically engineered organisms, and food security is an asset.
Pay Range: $18.15/hour to $23.00/hour
