Location: Golden Horseshoe, Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo Area (Must reside in one of these areas)
Job Type: Full-time, 1-year contract with the possibility of transitioning to permanent full-time
Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus
Work Arrangement: Remote with field travel
Omega Alpha is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Account Manager to support our professional divisions: Alpha Science Laboratories (ASL) and Alpha Vet Science (AVS). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities by engaging with prospective customers. You will be calling on licensed healthcare professionals and conducting regular sales calls and meetings with current and potential accounts.
Scope of Work:
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for your designated territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health-care professionals, including naturopathic doctors, medical doctors, nutritionists, nurses, veterinarians (DVMs), and veterinary technicians.
  • Develop a strong understanding of ASL and AVS product lines to effectively promote them.
  • Utilize promotional materials and tools during presentations to educate and inform clients.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required.
  • Travel regularly throughout your territory to visit clients in person.
  • Actively participate in sales and training meetings.
  • Submit monthly territory reports to Head Office.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Science background (BSc, MSc, or MScN) with a focus on nutrition or health sciences, or naturopathic training (ND).
  • Sales or related experience is an asset; full training will be provided.
  • Passion for the natural health industry and evidence-based supplements.
  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Well-organized and able to manage your own travel schedule and expense reports.
  • Strong interest in working with people and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Team player with respect for company policies, values, and culture.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Experience:
  • Sales experience in the natural health industry is considered a strong asset.
