Coordinator, Marketing and Communications (Boucher Campus)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Coordinator, Marketing and Communications professional to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Student Life you will support the development, creation, and execution of internal and external communications of CCNM Boucher Campus and Boucher Naturopathic Medical Clinic. The successful applicant will be involved in a wide variety of marketing responsibilities with an emphasis on increasing admissions into the naturopathic program and patient numbers into the onsite Clinic. Duties include:
  • Writing, contributing, and optimizing online content to increase engagement for social media platforms
  • Copywriting as required for internal and external promotional items (e.g., newsletters, alumni magazine, and report to the community)
  • Organizing virtual information sessions to promote the CCNM Boucher Campus and Boucher Naturopathic Medical Clinic
  • Assisting the Manager, Student Life with the promotion and execution of events at the CCNM - Boucher Campus
  • Liaising with designers and printers to ensure delivery of product as required
  • Tracking the accounting and managing of invoices from suppliers and freelancers ensuring timely payments
  • Coordinating and liaising with freelance contractors as needed

In response to COVID-19, this position is currently remote, but may be occasionally be required to be on-site.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or public relations
  • A minimum of three (3) years of marketing or communications experience in a professional, association or corporate environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience using WordPress, Drupal, Mailchimp, and Adobe Suite products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a high level of confidence in using Work, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in event management is an asset
  • High level of attention to details, proofreading and copyediting skills
  • Solid understanding of best practices in social media platforms
  • Excellent project management skills
