Healing House is seeking a part-time naturopathic doctor to join our Ottawa clinic for in-person patient care.

This position is ideal for an ND who is clinically thoughtful, evidence-informed, and interested in practicing naturopathic medicine through a whole-person lens. We are looking for a practitioner who values individualized care, root-cause assessment, patient education, lifestyle medicine, acupuncture, and the relationship between physical health, stress physiology, emotional well-being, and nervous system regulation.

Healing House is an established naturopathic clinic in Ottawa, founded by Dr. Jada MacLeod, ND, who has been in private practice since 2008. The clinic supports patients with a wide range of concerns, with a strong focus on women’s health, hormones, fertility, digestion, metabolic health, stress, burnout, mental wellness, chronic symptoms, and mind-body medicine.

Our approach is grounded in evidence-informed naturopathic care while recognizing the interconnected nature of the body’s systems. We aim to help patients understand what their symptoms may be communicating, identify contributing factors, and create practical, sustainable treatment plans that support long-term health.

We are looking for an ND who is interested in building a part-time in-person + virtual practice within a supportive clinic environment. The right candidate will be professional, reliable, compassionate, clinically curious, and open to mentorship and continued skill development.

This role may be especially well-suited to a newer or early-career ND who would benefit from clinical mentorship, or to an experienced ND who is aligned with the Healing House model of care and interested in joining an established practice.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in supporting patients in areas such as:

• Women’s health and hormones
• Perimenopause and menopause
• Fertility and reproductive health
• Digestive health
• Metabolic health
• Stress, burnout, anxiety, and fatigue
• Chronic illness
• Mind-body medicine
• Acupuncture as part of whole-person naturopathic care
• Nutrition, lifestyle, botanical medicine, supplementation, and lab-informed care

We are especially interested in a practitioner who uses acupuncture as a clinical tool to support regulation and greater coherence across the body’s systems.

The successful applicant will be:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a naturopathic doctor in Ontario
• Available for part-time, in-person care in Ottawa
• Evidence-informed and clinically grounded
• Comfortable supporting patients with complex, multi-system concerns
• Interested in women’s health, hormones, digestion, metabolism, stress physiology, and mind-body medicine
• Skilled in or interested in using acupuncture within naturopathic care
• Professional, reliable, warm, and patient-centred
• Open to mentorship, collaboration, and continued clinical development
• Interested in growing a practice within an established clinic setting
• Aligned with a whole-person model of care that respects both science and the body’s innate capacity for healing
