My name is Katy and I'm seeking a naturopath to take over the purely physical side of practice, so I can focus more on the mental, emotional and spiritual work that I do.  The Kawartha Lakes region is under serviced for all healthcare, and there are a lot of people with insurance coverage and/or money who just want to get their healing journey started.  This is smaller town living, so there is a strong community and people are friendly and get to know each other.  Because of this in-person practice is a must, at least part of the time.  Sorry to all of you virtual-only folks!

There is a large wellness centre in Bobcaygeon (the next town over) who constantly refers over cases, particularly pediatric, so if you have an interest in treating children, this could also be a great opportunity for you.  That being said, I am seeing people of all ages, with a wide variety of conditions and cases.  It's getting busy, and it's drowning out my other work, which is why I need you!

The clinic is located just outside Buckhorn, ON (40min north of Peterborough and/or Lindsay) in a beautiful log building, and is a 2min walk from Big Bald Lake where there are also rental cabins available on the water during the spring, summer and fall.  There may be the option for 4 season cabin rental available on site as well if you're looking for on site acommodation. Because the clinic is on the property attached to the cabin rental resort, we have free use of the beach, boat launch, dock, and walking trails included in the resort.  You can check out Catalina Bay Resorts for more information.

At the clinic, there is a large multipurpose room where you can teach yoga or other classes, and a beautiful big office as well with a 3 seater couch, recliner, wide comfortable treatment table and a little view of the lake.  I have a small dispensary and some metaphysical products for sale as well.

If you're interested in learning more of the mental, emotional and spiritual sides of practice, I'd be happy to train you in those approaches as well, but it's definitely not a requirement.  You're welcome to bring your own style of practice.

We will be splitting use of the office, but I'm flexible with days, and we can make a schedule that works for us both.  I've been thinking of doing a capped split, but we can discuss details and work out something that's fair for both of us.
