Careers Opportunities
Naturopath doctor opportunity
About Lumera: At Lumera, we believe that true wellness goes beyond treating symptoms — it's about understanding the whole person. Our integrative clinic brings together functional medicine in a collaborative environment, where both patients and practitioners feel genuinely supported. We're growing our team of passionate, root-cause-focused clinicians and we'd love to find the right ND to grow with us.
The Opportunity: We're looking for a naturopathic doctor who is excited about functional and integrative medicine and wants to build a meaningful practice within a connected, values-driven team. This contractor role offers real clinical autonomy alongside the warmth and support of a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer: We've taken care of the details so you can focus entirely on your patients:
- Full laundry service — linens, gowns, and treatment room textiles handled for you
- Professional cleaning — your treatment space is consistently clean, fresh, and ready
- Off-site admin support — scheduling and some of the patient communications
- Marketing & clinic promotion — your profile and services are actively promoted through Lumera's website, social media, and local outreach
- IV therapy infrastructure — supplies, protocols, and setup already in place
- Booking software — fully set up and supported (Jane App or equivalent)
- Built-in referral network — cross-referrals from an established multidisciplinary team
- Beautiful treatment rooms — thoughtfully designed, fully equipped clinical spaces
- Community & mentorship — regular team touchpoints, peer support, and a clinic culture that invests in your growth
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments with a functional, root-cause lens — including detailed health histories, physical exams, and relevant lab interpretation.
- Develop personalized treatment plans drawing on naturopathic principles, nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, hormone balancing, and lifestyle medicine.
- Bring your clinical niche and we'll help you build it.
- Educate and empower patients with practical wellness strategies and preventive care guidance.
- Maintain thorough, accurate patient records in compliance with BC regulations.
- Collaborate and cross-refer with Lumera's broader care team to ensure patients receive truly integrated support.
Who You Are
- Licensed in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC (CNPBC).
- Curious, growth-minded, and genuinely invested in your patients' long-term outcomes.
- Experienced or certified in IV therapy (is a bonus, not a requirement).
- A warm, patient-centered communicator who genuinely enjoys building long-term relationships with patients.
- Collaborative by nature — you thrive in a team environment and value the input of other practitioners.
Why Lumera: We're not just looking to fill a schedule — we're building something together. Contractors at Lumera benefit from an established and growing patient community, front desk and administrative support, a collaborative referral network, and a clinic culture that actually walks the talk on wellness. We offer both percentage split options, as well as room rental, as we understand that not every practitioner comes with the same level of experience, and everyone requires varied support.
Compensation & Structure We offer a 75/25 revenue split in your favour — because we believe practitioners who feel valued do their best work. For those who prefer it, room rental options are also available and structured around your individual practice needs. We're happy to find the right fit together.
If this sounds like the kind of practice you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Please email us at: info@lumerahealthcollective.com
